Another phone call

will-never-be-a-swan:

wrapped-in-shadows:

*jack took his time, and once again he had to rescue Roxy from getting into a fight she was too small for. the pug had barked at a doberman, who had growled back, only furthering to anger the little dog. he had scooped her up, apologized to he owner (a pretty blond woman) and hurried along*

Roxy you’re going to get daddy in so much trouble one day…

*he settles her back down and walks up to the cafe and glances around. was she here yet? jack had his back to the glass, unaware she had stepped inside. Roxy, meanwhile, was pressing her flat face against the glass, panting and making it fog up*

Her phone, a rather boring regular little gray machine, provided little entertainment so she snapped it closed and looked up to see someone leaning against the glass.

Jack? He was rather easy to distinguish. Especially when she noticed the cutie near the glass panting herself silly.

She leaned forward to tap the glass and get his attention, waving at him, a huge smile plastered on her face.

*jack turned his head at the tapping and grinned when he saw her, and lifted a hand and waved at her. Roxy continued panting on the glass, now licking at it. he walked around to the doors and pushed one open and peered in at her, grin still in place* h-hey! i hope you haven’t waited long?
