She stopped a moment, her face breaking out into an excited smile. “Hi Jack! I was just on my way to your apartment. I stopped by for snacks. Work was good. People are starting to—-um it was good. I’ll be there soon..unless you’re calling to tell me you’re busy?”
what? no, no i’m not calling to say that i was calling to ask if you wanted, wanted me to meet you half way or something? *and yes he realized what a big deal this was. him offering to go outside*
