w-well maybe one day you could get a pet? what about a bird? some fish…? *he asked as he pulled his navy blue jacket on, a black scarf, and the old faithful hat from his mother as he walks to her, using his foot to make sure Roxy didn’t rush through the door. once they were outside he shut the door, locking it* i don’t think your land lord would be mad at fish…
“Strict housing rules I’m afraid,” she said as she began to walk, though unsure of the way. It stopped her for a moment as she looked back at him. “No pets allowed or it breaks the lease contract.”
She shrugged to show it didn’t bother her as she looked up at the sky to see if the snow would fall. It looked promising. “That’s why it was better for me to get out all the time. Even though it got me in trouble sometimes,” she giggled sheepishly.
*he frowns as he slowly, carefully, wraps his arm around her shoulders to pull her against him as they begin to walk, him guiding her in the right direction* i’m sorry to hear that… b-but from what i hear there’s going to be an apartment in my block up for lease soon a-and we allow pets? i mean, i mean. that, that if you want to move somewhere better? i dunno how b-big your apartment is though maybe you won’t fit all your things here…
n-nevermind. silly idea. *he smiles as they stop at a crosswalk, waiting for it to be safe to cross*
