New and Startling Information

wrapped-in-shadows:

His hands left hers slowly, and she felt his fingers slowly, still hesitantly, as they trailed up her arms to rest on her shoulders as they still held the kiss. They hadn’t kissed this long before, feeling each others lips pressing so closely. Their noses brushed against one another, and she could feel his breath just against her cheeks as he shifted his head slightly.

Jack’s goatee, as well, tickled against her chin as he still kissed her.

Words had never really been his strong point. Once upon a time, maybe, back when he was young and naive to how the world worked. How boastful he’d once been, about how smart he thought he was. How different and unique, before the world in the form of his school mates made him know he wasn’t special. He had become so quiet, so withdrawn. Now a days, thanks to Katelynn he did so much better but sometimes he so easily became that quiet little boy time and time again.

He didn’t want to be that little boy any more. Especially when she was with him. He had to be strong. He had to be. For her. If not her, than who?

Then his mouth opened against hers, and for a fleeting moment it seemed as if he was about to deepen it…

She shivered against him, his kiss causing pleasurable goosebumps along her skin, this kiss not as innocent as the last ones. She had never experienced something like this, feeling something pool inside of her, filling up her stomach. The feeling was foreign, a bit scary, but still empowering.

Her cheeks were stained red, her hands free to move around as they grabbed at his shirt, shifting her closer to him, her mind making her move without her knowing.

She had transformed before him, becoming strong and trying to give him some of her strength. She had survived so much since moving to Metro City that she had seen her own change. They always said love was also about not wanting your love to change for you. And while she never wanted him to, if he wanted to she would support him and love him.

When she felt the kiss deepen, she felt a tiny moan escape her mouth, wondering where it had come from. She thought she would be scared to feel this way but she trusted Jack so completely that she didn’t fear him.

He would never hurt her. Ever.

There was a heat growing within the depths of his heart and was spreading to every single part of his body, he was sure if he was to look in a mirror right now his blue skin would be nothing but purple. He had never, ever this this way before, this longing, this affection, some desire and the butterflies that had suddenly erupted in his stomach were flying in praise of her, celebrating what she had done to him and was doing to him.

His hands tried their best not to shake, truly they did but the only way to do it would be to grip at her tighter and he couldn’t do that to her like this. She was still recovering, still bruised in places he was sure of and wouldn’t dare try to find out like this. It would be horrible if he worsened a bruise at a pivotal moment like this.

Her mouth suddenly felt so much… more? Hrm, words were beginning to stop working within his artistically minded mind. Which was a shock since he had been raised in a home of art, music, writing and expression that made art such a simple thing for him to handle. Poetry, writing, it was all a part of who he was and yet now he couldn’t begin to think of the right word to describe how he felt now. What she felt like.

The blue man’s tongue only just touched her bottom lip before he broke the kiss. Not because he wanted to, Heavens no if he could have he would have held the kiss for as long as the world itself would spin around the sun but breathing was something he, and she, needed in order to survive. His lips didn’t leave hers entirely; technically they were still touching, but far enough apart to allow the two parties to breathe.
