”..do you want me to stay here?” he asked quietly.
She looks over at him with eyes full of sadness, eyes that are scared of what is to come, and doesn’t reply for a second. She bites down on her bottom lip, worried.
“I don’t really..want to be alone but…I have to face him on my own…you could just wait outside or something..?” she asked quietly.
He didn’t like the sound of this but he does respect he request and he nods. “All right I. I’ll just be outside then?” he asked as he pointed towards the door. “Just send him out and I’ll come in… b-but if I start to hear trouble I’m going to come in. I mean not that… that there’d be trouble but you know.”
Jack smiles at her before quickly kissing her cheek, rubbing her hand as he does. “Love you.”
