Jack listened to the voice mail on his phone, chewing at his bottom lip as he did. He had just started work on a new painting requested by an art dealer but he knew there were things more important than work.
Roxy, resting by his feet, barely moves as he gets up and moves to his bean bag, away from his work stool and sits down on it as he dials the number.
