Healed

He stares at her blankly, eyes wide, unsure of what to say or do in the situation. He was more than prepared to help her through three months of being wheelchair bound. The physiotherapy. The pain she’d feel. He would have been there holding her hand, being there for her but… suddenly… “H-how…?” Jack asks as he gets to his feet and goes to her, touching her shoulders.

She places her hands over him, staring at him with tenderness. “I met a girl named Rapunzel..I was just being friendly, you know? Just chatting about things. She noticed my disability and she offered to heal me. She told me she had magic hair and she used it to heal me…”

Her voice is soft, eyes searching his. For what, she’s not sure.

"Magic… magic hair…“ Jack whispered as he touched her gently, before looking down at her legs. "That… that’s… it’s a miracle. That’s the only way to describe this I thought… you’d be in that wheelchair for ages and now you can walk… you can walk, Katelynn…!” he pulls her into his arms, hugging her tightly, kissing her face anywhere he could.
