“Really?” he asked quietly, just as touched she would trust him, a man, normally the least trustworthy half in a relationship (at least that’s how the movies showed it), a key to her apartment?
He reaches out and closes his hand over it, before looking at her. “…wow. Thank… thank you.”
She smiled at him, a look of complete trust on her face. “You’re welcome. My apartment is your apartment,” she replied softly. “You know like ‘my house is your house’ except well it’s an apartment.”
She giggled awkwardly, shrugging her shoulder, feeling shy around him suddenly. Of course Katelynn trusted Jack with all her heart. How could she not considering he was always there for her?
“Oh… I… I see…!” he says brightly as he holds the key to his chest as if it were the most precious thing in the world, at least coming only second after herself. He pushes it into his pocket, before wrapping his arms around her, giving her a slight spin as he does. “T-thank you so much…!”
