Jack had been very good.
He had gotten two of his paintings finally finished that day after putting them off for a little while. Roxy was already asleep by the time he was washing his brushes out, and he glanced at the clock. It was 11:21pm? Good heavens, he hadn’t realized it was so late.
The man yawns and rubs at his eyes as he walks through to his bedroom and begins to ease his shoes off when he realizes… Katelynn’s a floor away from him now. She could be in bed. She could be awake. If she’s awake, maybe she’d like his company? But if she’s asleep… would she mind if he showed up? He hadn’t seen her since that morning when he had helped her take her casts off, since some girl named Rapunzel had healed her legs magically with her hair.
He had let her do as she please for the day, since he really had to buckle down on his work. But now…
Jack pulls his pajamas on either way, which was more or less an un-dirty paint shirt, and some loose fitting pull string pants that had stars on them. He slipped his blue slippers on, grabbed his key which now had Katelynn’s key attached, and left the apartment.
