Her heart beat fast at his conviction, her face red before she smiled at him. “The two of us then..watching out for each other always..” she murmurs, yawning a bit, cuddling even closer to him, enveloped by his warmth. “..You’re so warm..”
“You’re warmer.” Jack sighed softly, as his chin rested against her collar bone as he let his eyes slip shut. He felt so content, so warm, so loved and needed here… if this is what awaited him every time he came into her bed, he might do it more often than he thought he would. Not the love making, while nice, he knew it couldn’t be all they thought about. “Mmmm…”
