Jack nods. “I love Aloysius as my father, I mean… he was the one who was there for me when they adopted me. He taught me so much and… and raised me. I’m not replacing him with Vycter, but I just…. I want to know him.” he looks at Katelynn, smiling faintly, reaching out with his free hand and touches her side. “You know?”
Family… Katelynn mused, knowing she now had none of her own save for Jack, her expression serious a moment. But somehow she could understand, even if she had never been in this kind of situation. She nodded at him, smiling. “Yeah..I mean at least for curiosity sake..”
He nods, but pauses. “…there’s something else I want to do, first though.”
