“I grew up i-in this kind of cold… I’m okay. You’re who I’m more worried about…” he admitted as he looked ahead, before looking down at her. He saw her eyes. He frowned. “Katelynn you’re upset. Why? Tell me…”
She sucked in a breath, her hand coming up to rub at her eyes before any moisture could fall. She thought about lying and saying she was fine but remembering her accusations at him about trust, she sighed, looking down.
“You’ll think I’m a horrible person…” she sighed out, trying to keep at his pace.
Jack frowned. “Katelynn I told you I’d never think that of you… is… is this because of Sally? Because of, of how she was?” he asked quietly.
