Taking a Trip

wrapped-in-shadows:

Jack, having been raised in this house, a house of chores and vegetable gardens and the like, rising with the sun was inevitable. The blue man shuffled and groaned before rolling onto his back, wincing a he reached down and pulled the condom off. He hadn’t even taken it off the night before. Now he felt sore. And sticky. But that could be dealt with later. Instead he sat up in bed, rubbing at his eyes, before peering down at Katelynn.

He smiled, and ran a hand through her hair and gently kissed her forehead before he gingerly climbed out of bed.

Nature called.

Only a few minutes later, Katelynn bolted up right in the bed, pressing a hand to her chest as the image of the man had stirred in her dreams, reminding her of what she had fallen asleep to.

She loved horror movies but seeing a ghost in front of her had definitely been a different experience, a different kind of fear. She had worried he would turn out to be not so pleasant and come rushing at her, intent on hurting them.

So much for the usual bravery she wore in such cases.

Noticing that Jack wasn’t in the bed, her alarm rose as she looked around for him. “J-Jack..?”

She heard the toilet flush, followed by running water. Jack re-entered the room… naked… and blinked when he saw her awake. He blushed, realizing he was in his birthday suit. She’d only seen him in the nude whilst they made love so this was new. Oh gosh.

“Katelynn!” he squeaked, moving to her and sat besides her on the bed, tugging the blanket over his lap. “Good morning…!” he said and was about to kiss her when he saw the look on her face. “Are … are you all right?  Did you have a nightmare?”
