“Maybe.” Jack whispered. “Normally we have less snow up here by that time… it’s only thick around December and January.” he admitted, before pulling away from her, picking up a tea towel and began to dry the dishes for her. “W-we could have some music and dance here in private… h-have a good meal too. A nice big dinner, a roast maybe? I, I don’t know. It’s still such a long way away…”
“Yeah, more than a month..but..” She looked at him and smiled brightly, finishing off the last of the dishes so she could help him dry. “..I really like the idea. Just the two of us, away from the city.”
Leaning up, she kissed his cheek tenderly, nuzzling her nose against his blue cheek.
He smiled too, and nuzzled his cheek against her gently, putting up no qualm as she helped him. It was only fair to let both of them work on the dishes together, wasn’t it?
“Yeah, so do I…” he whispered. “No sirens, no loud people in the apartment, nothing like that… just you. And me.”
