Taking a Trip

Jack frowned at the thickness and added a bit more milk, since pancake mix wasn’t meant to be THIS thick… least he didn’t think it did. He laughed slightly, reaching out and touched her cheek where the flour had made itself comfortable. “I think we have some strawberries in the fridge from yesterday, we can put them on them? I don’t think we have maple syrup, sorry…”

He sees she’s fine, so he goes over to where the frying pans are, gets one out and sprays it with a non-sticking spray from the cupboard before going to the stove and turning it on.

“Hmm natural strawberries,” she replies, walking over to him and still stirring. “That sounds good! I love strawberries! Especially dipped in chocolate!”

Okay now she was craving them and she remembered back to the pamphlet about food cravings. Hmmm..

“I..I don’t know how to make them into jam though..”

“We can just cut them into slices.” Jack offered as he took the bowl from her and poured some of the mix onto the frying pan. Using a spatula he moved the pancake, already cooking. “And e-enjoy them with the pancake with sugar or something…”
