“…well, if you want her to be socially active, and not bark madly at other dogs and people it would be good for her to meet other dogs.” Jack pointed out gently. “I’m sorry, I don’t. I don’t want to be bossy.”
“Ah no, it’s not bossy love,” she tried to amend, looking up at him. “I was just..sorry..caught me a bit off guard. That’s kind of a big step..” Or she supposed it was. They were practically living together as it was since they had exchanged keys and made love. Katelynn was used to his presence in fact and it felt strange when he was away.

“Well when you think it’s ready for her to meet Roxy, you let me know.” Jack said with a smile. “Roxy’s super friendly with dogs she’s familiar with. She needs a play mate, really…” he looks down at the tiny puppy who was digging into some snow, since they’d paused to talk on the street. “I give her all my attention when I can but you know. When I’m painting I can’t toss a ball all the time.”
