“Thank you. And I love you, Katelynn…” is all he can say as he holds her because there’s nothing else he can ever say to her to tell her how grateful he was to know her, to hold her, to love her and watch over her as best he can. He doesn’t want to think how life would be like without her in it, without knowing her smile, or her laugh. That’s what mattered to him most, more than their kissing, even if that meant a lot to him as well.
It was just a means to show her how much he adored her. And making love, my God. There was nothing more meaningful then that. Even with her past, clouded and stained by that other man, she knew he would never judge her for that, or hate her. He was what she knew now. And she was all he knew.
That’s the way he wanted it to stay.
She held onto him a bit longer, taking in his strength and love, thinking how much she wanted to be with him, forever. And that made her remember something.
“A-About moving in together..w-when do you want to begin looking for an apartment..?”
The thought a cute little space, one that was more than just a studio apartment began to excite her.
“When? W… well we can look now…? The internet has all kinds of places listed…” he said quietly, rubbing her back gently, feeling her hair spill over his hands as he did. “Just for an idea, or, or actual look. I’m happy to do either…”
If it meant getting away from where they knew where they lived… but he didn’t want to spend his entire life running. But the kidnapping and the assaults, they weren’t safe. He’d have to make a claim to the police.
