He smiled faintly, and sighed.
“Yeah…? You want a gangly blue man who’s so shy he can barely step outside without thinking his shadow is someone trying to mug him?” he asks on a hushed tone, but still smiled. “I’m glad. Because I don’t think anyone else would have wanted him.”
“Oh I don’t know,” she whispered, kissing along his head gently and nuzzling him as her body imitated the action, snuggling him closer. “I’m very sure you would have attracted some other girl’s attention too.”
And remembering Wayne in fact, she had to giggle. “You were attracting male attention too actually.”
“Hard to attract attention when you never go outside.” Jack pointed out as he settled against her, sighing at the feeling of her beneath him. He’d been afraid he wouldn’t know this for a week, and it hadn’t been a nice thought. Which is why he worked so hard, and so fast, on this material as he did.
