“You are not sleeping on the floor.” Jack said sternly as he pulled his hand away before returning to the bathroom and pulled out, slowly, a whole freaking bed cover made of the same material. “Behold. Insulated to keep your cold at bay. It will keep your body its natural body temperature, so you won’t freeze anything while you sleep.”
She did a double take, completely amazed by him. “O-Oh wow! You did this too?” She reached a hand out, fingering the material and feeling how it instantly spread warmth coursing through her.
“You thought of everything!”
“Just thought of the essentials.” Jack replied gently before dragging it through to the bedroom where he began to fit it onto the bed. “Course, you’ll still have to control your powers if you want to kiss me. I… kind of like my lips attached to my face, after all.” he added before giving her a smile. “But having them permanently stuck to your lips wouldn’t be a bad thing at all.”
