He nodded, kissing her cheek in return. “I know you will be.” he said gently, since he had to believe she’d be find. Just because he was going to be away for a while didn’t mean she was going to get herself into some kind of trouble. Jack smiled, and caressed her face gently. “I’ll see you later then, okay?”
She nodded gently, smiling at him to reassure him. Because she really would be fine. She was confined in the room for a while anyway considering she didn’t want to risk going outside and bumping into Hot Flash even with the holo watch on. Her body would still give off the cold and she felt slightly paranoid of giving herself away and being found by Psycho Delic instead.
It would definitely be her luck.
“Have fun with what you have to do okay?” she said, and it felt really weird that she was telling him this because he was only going into the other room..strange..
“It’s work, so.” he said with a shrug before patting her shoulder. “I’m working on some commission work today so when I get to bed tonight I’m going to be pretty tired. Commission work always takes a lot out of me.” he explained since it was true. Whenever he painted, or worked, for somebody else despite himself he wouldn’t sleep well th at night.
