“Oh yes! Do put him on!” Bonnie said.
Jack was laying on his back on the floor, magazine held above his face as he read.
“Okay one second,” Katelynn said, walking into the house and wiping her feet before moving over to where he was. “Here love, your mother wants to talk to you,” she replied, handing him the phone and kissing his head. Once the phone was on his stomach, she turned to walk back outside, wishing to continue with her snowman and maybe start work on her fort.
“…?” he watches her leave before rollilng onto his stomach so he can talk to his mother.
He doesn’t approach the outside until ten minutes later, and he stands in the door way. “Katelynn, where are you?”
