It took her a moment to gather herself after being nearly seduced by him again, her cheeks dusted with a soft red. Trying to shake herself of it, she looked back at the large wall of white that was slightly sprinkled with color from their earlier playfulness.
“Oh um..well considering I can’t really paint…” she giggled, “I thought I would let the true artist have the honors of deciding. I just don’t know how we’re going to fit this in the apartment now I think about it…oops..” She bit her lip, having not thought this through completely; a flaw in her plan.
Jack, however, wasn’t worried. He’d dealt with this sort of problem a few times in his career, cutting a canvas only to have the customer change their mind about the size, and he knew there was an easy fix.
“It’s all right, Katelynn,” he reassured her. “All we have to do is trim down the size.” And to do that, he dipped his fingers in the black paint (dark chocolate flavored) and marked off a smaller, more manageable section of the canvas. “There. As long as we st-stay inside the lines, it’ll be fine. Now, as for what we should paint …”
He glanced first at her chest, then at his own, studying the matching butterfly tattoos.
“Love, you are not painting my b-breasts on that canvas,” she joked, unable to help herself as she covered them up. Paypack for tickling her.
Even if he was cutting it down, the rest of it could be the canvas for their paint fight if she could just manage to fit it in there.
He chuckled, his cheeks blushing almost as purple as the paint. “Th-that’s not what I meant! I was thinking – well, we both like butterflies, don’t we? Why not see about painting some of those?” And to start, he dipped his fingers in the deep blue, blue-raspberry flavor paint. “Morphos, monarchs, swallowtails, whatever we want. It’ll give us a chance to make use of all the colors."
