Jack couldn’t help laughing at the poor dog’s plight. “Gail, sweetie, if you need money, come and ask me or Mommy. Don’t make Roxy beg for you,” he teased her.
“Nooo!” She stomped her foot, pouting. “Roxy stole my purse. Mommy put money and snacks in it for me and Roxy stole it for the food.”
He knelt down and removed the bag from Roxy’s neck. “Well, come in the kitchen, and I’ll see about filling it up again. What did she take?"
