That made him laugh again. “She is a smelly girl, isn’t she? But it’s okay, we can put her outside when she starts pooting.”
He led her into the kitchen, and got her another baggie of cheese sticks. “Anything else you’d like?”
“Mmmm..” She peered around at the food in the fridge. “Grapes! And watermelon! And yogurt and..and juice.”
Jack chuckled. “Somebody’s eyes are bigger than their stomach.” But he packed all the things she asked for anyway. Since they’d sliced up some watermelon the day before, he was able to cut it up into cubes and pack them in a little pot. “There you go.”
She squealed and wrapped herself around his leg. “Thank you daddy! I love you.” She kissed his leg since she was still so short before untangling herself. Still squealing, she ran off to go bother her brother and hoard her stash over him.

He knelt down and removed the bag from Roxy’s neck. “Well, come in the kitchen, and I’ll see about filling it up again. What did she take?”
“My cheese sticks. Roxy is gonna smell everything up with her farting.”

Jack couldn’t help laughing at the poor dog’s plight. “Gail, sweetie, if you need money, come and ask me or Mommy. Don’t make Roxy beg for you,” he teased her.
“Nooo!” She stomped her foot, pouting. “Roxy stole my purse. Mommy put money and snacks in it for me and Roxy stole it for the food.”
