Wrapping her arms around his shoulders, she kissed him at midnight. “Happy New Year love! This year will definitely be the best since we’re getting married and we can be together forever.” She smiled.
With a smile of his own, Jack kissed her back eagerly. This was a far cry indeed from the way they’d celebrated last New Year’s (and just thinking about that made him shiver), but as long as he was with Katelynn, it would be a happy New Year indeed.
