The drug’s caused a personality reversal, basically – she’s trying to be evil, and destroy all her old relationships, though her true self is fighting back a little. Jack’s realized she’s not in her right mind (though he doesn’t know the cause), and he’s trying to find her so she can get treatment. ]]

One word, anon: patience. 

I know my children aren’t much like me or Katelynn, but they’re not that different, either. I sometimes see little quirks of us in both of them, especially Katelynn in Gail. And … well, I love them. When you really love someone, you learn to take a lot of things in stride. 

[Jack freezes in his tracks. His rational mind tells him he must have imagined her voice. But in his heart …]

[Blushes like crazy] Well, it’s n-n-not like I’ve ever used a tape measure on myself. Or seen a lot of others for comparison. I l-like to think I’m a pretty decent size, though. [Weak chuckle] I’ve never had any complaints.

As for what I like … [thinking about this is somewhat painful at the moment, but he keeps it with the other things he hopes will return to normal] I w-wouldn’t say I have a favorite thing, but there was something Katelynn did once. [Swallows a bit as he remembers] While we were, um, being intimate, she was bending over me, and some of her hair got wrapped around my dick. When she pulled it away – [shivers] it felt amazing. I’d n-never even imagined that could be a thing, but I loved it. 

[Once again, he doesn’t say anything. He just mentally promises himself to work harder at finding and helping her.]

[Rubs his chin, thinking it over] … I’d love to have some kind of projection power. Creating illusions, that sort of thing. There’s so many pictures I’ve dreamed about that I haven’t been able to capture on canvas – this would let me beam them straight from my mind. [It’s also a fairly “safe” power, which he prefers as well] 

Can I pick neither? [Rubs the back of his neck shyly] They’re both handsome, but I’m not attracted to either of them. I’d rather leave them happy with each other. 

[Sighs] I just want Katelynn back. So no, I wouldn’t have a problem with that. I like it when she’s assertive. [Blushes] Esp-p-pecially in bed. I like to think I’ve gotten better, but I’m still not v-very confident. Sometimes I n-need someone to give me that nudge.
