She snuggled into him, enjoying this one special moment. They had many wonderful days together, remembering when they had met, his birthday, the rooftop, every time they made beautiful love together and now this that she hoped their happiness could go on forever.

Day at the Amusement Park
“Well not every night. I hope to take ets place a few times.” he said with a smile as they walked along through the rest of the games.
They played many; darts, pop the balloons, fish up with magnets to win prizes, and Jack even attempted that ‘try your strength’ thing by swinging a mallet to make a bell ring but of course he didn’t do very well. Still, he tried. And of course they snacked. Oh how they snacked. They ate all kinds of bad things; hot dogs, curly hot chips, donuts, all the things his young self hadn’t had because of his braces.
Soon they’re sitting on some grass whilst in the background a small band plays some music to entertain the people resting, taking a break.
“This ‘as been a wonderful day Katelynn.” Jack says, smiling at her brightly. “A good first date, eh?”
Snuggling her panda plush, she looked over at him and smiled brightly, happiness coursing through her as she enjoyed the music and his presence. “Yeah! It was worth it..waiting as long as we did. Today was so much fun and I hope we can do more things like this.”
Putting the panda aside she stood up carefully and held her arms out. “D-Dance with me too? Another first right?”

He smiled at the woman, thanking her, before going over to Katelynn and held the toy out. “For you.” he said, smiling faintly. He saw the shock in her eyes, still, and flushed slightly; though it was hard to tell with his dark skin.
“I used to play hoop. A lot. When I was younger.” he replied with a shrug.
She held the panda a moment, as if not believing it was there. He was so good and had gotten it for her. “T-Thank you, love..I love it..!” she whispered, going over to give him a one armed hug, holding the panda. “I’ll snuggle it every night!”
She looked around for another game, seeing so many different ones and wondering which one next.

Jack watched her for a moment before picking up his own ball. He stood straight, tall, not bothering to wriggle or prepare. He simply threw. The ball arched through the air and went through the hoop with a satisfying swish noise. The vendor congratulated him and handed him another ball, to which the same thing happened again. And again. And again. Only the fifth one he missed, but he’d already done enough to deserve a prize.
“Oh, oh thank you!” he said as the lady pointed out the line of toys he could pick out. Jack bit his bottom lip as he looked them over, before pointing to a panda. “T-that one, please.”
She had watched him play, not even bothering to throw her own basketballs into the hoop in shock of how good he was. “W-Wow love!” she exclaimed, seeing him toss the last one in.
Then he was picking a toy out and her eyes widened. It was huge! But just oh so cute! Stella would love playing with it, she was sure. Or snuggling into it.

Jack had watched her a moment before focusing on his candy apple, taking a few more licks, softening the red cover before taking a bite since he didn’t rant to risk damage to his teeth. He’d never had one of these before too, so it was a new taste, new feeling. He shivered.
“Oh this is good.” he mumbled, before taking another few bites, chewing the candy apple before looking around. “Oh! This…!”
He led her to a hoop game. You threw a basketball into a hoop and if you got three in, you won a toy. The toys were big ones, too. Half Katelynn’s size.
She looked at the game, staring at the large basketballs and smiling. Without her disguise she was much too short to play but now…now she figured it was okay. “Oh let’s both try it?” she asked, giving him a smile. She laid a bit of money down to the guy who handed them each a ball.
Katelynn wiggled her bottom as if getting ready, having put down her treats for a moment to hold the ball properly and get ready to shoot. She jumped, tossing it in, and missing. She pouted. “Not very good at this..”

He placed his hand over hers, shaking his hand. “Non. I’m paying.” Jack insisted before going forward, ordering two candy apples and one churro for her, since he only wanted one thing right now. He paid for the sweets, before turning back to her and offering her the food.
“Here you go Katelynn… bon apetit.” he grins faintly before unwrapping his candy apple, and begins to lick at the red, candied body.
She licks her lips, looking extremely happy at having her treats, and takes a big bite of her candy apple, a pleased smile on her face as she chewed. “MMM!” she moans slightly, licking the caramel off her lips. It was delicious! Sugary sweet with a bit of tang.
She was enjoying it so much the attendant was giving her funny looks at the noises she was making but Katelynn hardly noticed, too absorbed in her treat. “I haven’t had one of these in sooo long..”
Taking another bite and enjoying it just as much as the first, Katelynn looked around at the carnival games. “Which game do you want to play first?”

Jack veered her towards the food, though, looking at all the sugary, fatty things they have on offer. He loves sweets too but doesn’t indulge too much since he had braces all those years. Still, today was about fun, right? He points to the candy apples. “Do you want one?”
She walked over with him, eying the food with envy and smelling everything as the delicious smells wafted around her. “M-Maybe a candy apple and churro?” she asked shyly, which looked weird on her disguised face.
She lamented her sweet tooth but everything just looked so good. She reached around for her purse, intent on paying of course. “Did you want one too?” They looked so delicious covered in caramel as they did.

“We can…? I always wanted to try those… they look fun in the movies…” Jack says before he realizes they’re slowing down. He reaches over and kisses her quickly again before pulling back, and turns his watch back on. Last thing he wants is people seeing him like that…
She held his hand as she turned her own back on, black hair and everything, before taking his hand gently and looking at him with a mix of sadness and love. “Hopefully someday you won’t be ashamed to just be yourself either…The watches are to keep us safe mostly..but I always prefer you as you are..always..”
The ride came to a gentle stop and they both got off, heading for the carnival games next, ring toss, shooting games, water balloons, ball tosses, etc. There were stands for cotton candy, candy apples, popcorn, and churros, all of which Katelynn looked at with slight hunger, her sweet tooth kicking in.

They weren’t in a Ferris Wheel in an Amusement Park he wasn’t familiar with, he wasn’t outside, he wasn’t inside, he was just with her and that’s what mattered most. But the kiss couldn’t last forever, no matter how much he wanted it to. Jack broke the kiss, giving her a small, but warm, smile before touching her face with his hand.
“Thank you. For taking me out here. I really… really do appreciate it I mean… my first Amusement Park visit… and it’s with you.”
She smiled at him tenderly, leaning into his hand gently. “I just want to make you happy and smile. And I figured we needed some fun for once.”
She closed her eyes, enjoying being with him like this, her heart filled with so much love. “And there’s still so much we can do. We can go play those carnival games and try to win a stuffed animal or something.”

He saw that look, and he knew what it meant. They hadn’t kissed in public before. Still, they were in a Ferris Wheel. They couldn’t get further away from people while still being in it…
Oh screw it.
Jack moved to her, and captured her lips with his own, kissing her softly.
Sighing happily against his lips, she closed her eyes, forgetting the world for a moment. Her arms came up to grasp at his arms gently, trying to keep steady as she kissed him back, pouring all of her love into the kiss as the Ferris Wheel moved onward, stopping at times to let others on, swinging their cart forward a bit.
Yet Katelynn never noticed. All she noticed was the man kissing her.
