Valentine Love

Jack shivered – she knew how sensitive his ears were. “I’ll call them tomorrow. But until then …” He smiled, wrapped his arms around her waist, and began to sway with her. “I think we have a Valentine’s Day to celebrate.”

“Yes we do,” she replied softly, swaying with him to some invisible music. Separating the space between them, she rested her body against his chest and closed her eyes. “I love you…so much..” she whispered, knowing that no matter what, there in his arms was where she wanted to be forever.

“I don’t know much about hair,” Harrison said bluntly, “being that I have none of it myself.   But I always have plenty of opinions.”  And he shrugged at the blue man across from him.

They certainly weren’t going to be BFFs any time soon.  But Harrison had discovered a side of the blue artist that was certainly tolerable, if not a little bit enjoyable.

While they could have stayed and talked some more, Jack had a feeling it was better to end things now. He’d said what he had to say, and if he was reading Harrison right, he’d managed to improve the other man’s opinion of him, at least a little.

“And I’d be glad to hear more of them, but I probably shouldn’t keep you any longer,” he said, with a small smile. “We can talk some more when you come visit. Just let Katelynn and I know when a good time is, and we’ll be happy to have you.”

“Yes, yes, I must get back to the office,” Harrison agreed, happy to keep this visit short.   “Business won’t run itself.   But I’ll be in touch,” he said as he stood and buttoned his coat.  For Katelynn’s sake, he thought.

The Day We Met

Pushing play, she rested her head upon his chest and just nuzzled into him. It was strange yet amazing at the same time because he smelled so fruity yet was so warm that she couldn’t help latching on closer.

“First anniversary of many, right love?” she inquired, knowing the answer already but still wishing to hear him say it. Perhaps it stemmed from old insecurities but she knew Jack, who had stayed by her side through it all, wouldn’t be like the others.

With Katelynn cuddling him like that, her hair warm and soft and tickling slightly, Jack soon forgot about the paint. He wrapped his arms around her, cradling her close. As the movie began to play, he thought of this time last year; how nervous he’d been, how attracted he’d been to her even if he’d been afraid to say it. Well, he wasn’t afraid to say it anymore.

“The first of a lifetime,” he whispered back. And he reached down, brushed Katelynn’s hair aside with a gentle touch, and kissed her forehead.

“Next year I’ll make it even more special,” she promised, her mind filled with thoughts of him instead of giving the movie much attention.

Because it had definitely been a crazy year for them with everything she had done that she was sure they deserved happiness now. This year she would do things right – plan the wedding, marry the man who was cradling her in his arms and live happily ever after.

It was what Jack deserved for being so wonderful.

Katelynn’s Superbly Touchable Butt

Even after all their time together and even having just made love in a sense Katelynn couldn’t fight the blush at his words as her fingers traced random circles and shapes along his skin.

“You’re even more wonderful..” she tried retaliating, unsure how she could even express how she felt for him with words. “You do know how much I love you right? How highly..I think of you..? How strong and brave I think you..are as well..? You have to know by now..”

If he didn’t she had no problem showing him again or telling him until it reached his brain and he believed it.

Oh, he couldn’t resist it any longer. Smiling down at her (and fighting back the embarrassing sting of happy tears in his eyes), Jack gently tilted Katelynn’s chin up and kissed her deeply. He gave a little groan as he tasted himself on her lips, and knew she could probably taste herself on him as well. He hoped she wouldn’t mind, because he needed this like he needed air to breathe.

“It’s b-because of you,” he said, gazing into her eyes as he broke the kiss. “You’re the one who makes me brave.”

She poured her heart out into the kiss, trying to translate the love she felt for him into it and didn’t mind at all that she could taste herself on him. His lips on hers just felt like a requirement for survival.

When he broke the kiss she stared at him for a moment as he spoke before her lips stretched into a smile. “If I make you brave then..I’ll..always be by your side to make you strong…always by your side..always.”

Nothing would keep her away from him anymore for as long as he needed and wanted her.

Forearms slightly covering her chest, Katelynn nodded and began gathering up the clothes to change back into her streets, trying to be quick and make sure not to entice Jack any further.

Perhaps when they got home she could entice him with the suit again and enjoy his caresses in the privacy of their home.

All dressed up, she gathered the articles she wanted to buy and smiled at him shyly, exiting the changing room and avoiding eye contact with any smirking employees. “L-Let’s pay and h-head to the beach then, love,” she suggested, her hand in his and leading the way to the cash register so she could pay for it all.

Now that he had himself a bit more under control, Jack smiled. His thumb caressed the back of her hand. “Y-yes, let’s. I’m looking forward to it.” In more ways than one. Granted, they probably wouldn’t have any real privacy at the beach either, but they could still get away with more than they could in here.

While Katelynn paid for their purchases, he looked out at the other shops. “D-do you think we need anything else?”

“Oh!” she exclaimed softly, grabbing a nearby towel and paying for that as well – a nice big one enough for the two of them to lie on as well as some smaller ones and a nice beach ball, bag and suntan lotion. ”Just these items also just in case.”

The cashier couldn’t stop sneaking glances at Jack and his hand in Katelynn’s but she still rang them up and tried to smile as strange as she found the pairing especially when Katelynn called him “love.”

Purchases made, she led him out of the store and to the nearest taxi to take them as close to the beach as they could get so Katelynn could spend some private time with him swimming and having fun. She couldn’t wait for it.

“Here you go.” From his pocket, Jack produced one of the updated business cards he’d had ordered while he was still in New York. It carried his phone number, email, and several other contact details. “And I s-should have the sketches ready very soon.” He meant that – he was excited to get started on this project.

“Thank you so much.” Ezayne took the card, not hiding the childish excitement filling his nice features. It was a nice card. He made sure to save it into his bedside table, so it wouldn’t get lost.

“That would be really amazing, Jack. This really means a lot to me. Thank you. Thank you so much.”

He really meant it. That painting would inspire him, in the same way the other he has lost used to do it. Jack hadn’t asked him too many details, but Ezayne could feel he was a good man, and that was all what mattered.

“You’re welcome, Ezayne,” the blue man replied. “I-if you think of anything else you’d like to see in the painting, let me know. I just hope I c-can do it justice.” With that, he bid Ezayne farewell. Designs and details were already appearing in his mind, and he wanted to get them down on paper as soon as he could.

“Sure, if I have more ideas, I’ll contact you.” Ezayne followed him to the door, waving him goodbye. “Take care, Jack. See you!”

He knew Jack would do a great job. Sure it would be something beautiful. Maybe not as impressive as the big mural painting he wanted, but it would be OK.

The kiss on the nose made him smile. “Sounds like a good plan to me.”

He nuzzled her back for a moment, then nodded toward the table. “And speaking of meals, shall we finish this o-one? Y-you did really well with the lasagna; we should keep that recipe.”

Her heart swelled at his compliment, pressing her palm against the spot from where it beat and hiding a smile. She felt so elated knowing her skills were improving from before as she had tried her best for months now to become better. Grace had helped her a great deal as she was a master in the kitchen.

“W-Well that’s what I meant, love. We can take this into the living room and eat it there while watching the movie,” she offered, beginning to stand up from her seat. “They say movies tend to make people hungry.”

Or else why else would people eat popcorn in the cimema?

“Oh. Oh of course!” Jack gave a small, embarrassed chuckle. “I’m sorry. I-I think the trip’s left me a little drained; I’m not catching on as fast as I should. But yes, that sounds nice.”

He helped Katelynn gather up the plates and glasses, and carried them over to the beanbags in front of the TV. “So what would you like to watch?” He’d leave the choice up to her – he’d be happy with anything.

Hoping he was nice and cozy as she helped him settle into his chair, Katelynn moved over to his movie selection and ran her fingers across the titles, debating the answer. A lot of them seemed like good choices but she had to pick one that would really work for a tired mind such as his. All that jet lag was probably catching up to him.

Giving a cry of triumph for her choice as she pulled a copy of the Muppet Movie out, Katelynn popped it into the machine and reclaimed her place snuggled up to Jack’s side, food forgotten. All she wanted was right by her side, returned to her. She knew it wouldn’t be the only time he would be away from her side so she knew she had to soak it up when he was around and learn to deal with it.

For now she just enjoyed being there, snuggled into his chest and watching movies with him.
