Jack couldn’t help laughing at the poor dog’s plight. “Gail, sweetie, if you need money, come and ask me or Mommy. Don’t make Roxy beg for you,” he teased her.
“Nooo!” She stomped her foot, pouting. “Roxy stole my purse. Mommy put money and snacks in it for me and Roxy stole it for the food.”
He knelt down and removed the bag from Roxy’s neck. “Well, come in the kitchen, and I’ll see about filling it up again. What did she take?”
“My cheese sticks. Roxy is gonna smell everything up with her farting.”
That made him laugh again. “She is a smelly girl, isn’t she? But it’s okay, we can put her outside when she starts pooting."
He led her into the kitchen, and got her another baggie of cheese sticks. "Anything else you’d like?"
