*up and out of his chair he was standing over her, eyes wide, reaching for the ‘call nurse button’ instantly*

She turned her face slightly to the sound of his voice, the eyelashes of her unbruised eye fluttering against the cuts of her cheek. She let out a bigger sigh, her body hurting her.
