“All right,” she says, beginning to walk back to the door. “I’ll go get your cot then and bring it in here for you. You should rest up if you want to remain strong for her.”
She walked out of the door, rushing off to get what she needed. Luckily cots were easy to move around with the wheels. She was going to need a lot more blankets as well.
