“That’s… so nice of you…” Jack said carefully. He didn’t like the idea of a man staying in his girlfriends apartment, even if she wasn’t there. Even HE hadn’t spent the night there yet… but. No point in being jealous of what wasn’t there. “But I still want to help.”
“Of course you can,” she replied, smiling, picking up a hand to caress his brow with her fingertips. “I would love it if you did. I can’t wait to move in in fact..it’ll be really awesome living near you.” Though the thought also made her blush.
To think. He would stop by any time she wanted him to. He’d be a few doors away from her. Would they exchange keys? How often would he stop by? And how about herself, she would be always welcome in his apartment. Oh heavens. His heart was beating faster.
