“It does have a lot of character.” Jack said with a nod, before a small smile crossed his face and wriggled a few fingers at her. “And ghost stories.”
Katelynn had almost tripped on her own feet at that one, catching herself at the last minute, and excited squeal stealing from her lips. “R-Really?!” She asked, looking over at him. Ghost stories, she was staying in a haunted house? Would she be able to conduct a ghost investigation if he let her? Oh she had only brought her camera and not the video camera!
Her smile was huge, a bounce in her step again. “Oh wow! A haunted house! Oh wow! I’ve never…I mean I’ve always wanted to see a haunted house!”
It was pretty obvious her parent’s had her very sheltered and it wasn’t because they were overprotective either.
“Can we..can I go looking for ghosts tonight?”
Jack blinked at her reaction but smiled as he continued walking along with her. “Sure, well if anything they’ll come looking for you. New face and what not.” he added on a small smile.
“…you want to ask what they’re like, don’t you?” Jack asked, seeing that excitement in her eyes.
