“Really? It didn’t say anything about that… it just said ‘own’…” Jack replied, setting a hand around her shoulders.
“I know..” She looks sheepish. “But I think the person who does the asking or the one who does the owning can pick what they want? Granted I wouldn’t have let it be anything bad. I would have just picked ‘being by the side of the person..’ But at least I got the one I wanted.”
Smiles at him.
“…being side by side all t-the time?” he asks, quietly. What if he had to use the bathroom?
