Jack stood in the door way and stared at her blankly for a moment, before pointing back inside. “Um. Aren’t we m-meant to be discussing wedding plans…?”
She sighed, seeing he wasn’t going to join in on the game and dropping it. “Yeah I know,” she pouted slightly, dusting the snow off her clothes and walking over to him. They had been discussing wedding plans for a while now though and she didn’t understand what was so wrong with taking a little break and having fun sometimes. “So what did your mother say..?”
“Oh she said the usual, c-congratulations and–WOOP!” Jack suddenly rushed past her, his shoes thankfully saving his feet from frostbite, as he ran across the white snow. He ducked down behind the fort she’d just made, and picked up one of the snow balls. “Prepare yourself!” he grinned.
