“K-Katelynn this is serious.” Jack said, looking at her. “W-we can think about fun later okay?” he asked. “I, I know you like your fun but we have to knuckle down and w-work on this now. That’s why we c-came out here, to get away from the city but a-also to do this. So let’s focus for now?”
“Okay,” she sighed, moving the color swatches between her fingers. Planning a wedding was supposed to be fun but the snow would disappear eventually and they’d go home and miss it all. She felt it was a bit of a waste. Last snow of the season after all she lamented, looking out the window a bit longingly.
“Well..what do you think about me having butterfly wings on for my wedding dress?”
He glanced at her out the corner of his eyes and saw her looking out the window and inwardly groaned. Can’t she focus on what’s important? Snow comes every year, a wedding once in a life time. Priorities were important, weren’t they? Jack looks back down at his book, making a ‘hmm’ sound at the back of his throat. “How big? A-and where?”
