It took a bit of digging around the closet for the boxes since they had piled other things in front of it. “How did we acquire so much stuff…? Love, there’s so much stuff in here. I think we’re going to have to clean this closet out eventually.” She grabbed a ladder to find the lights. “Maybe do a garage sale..”
“Heh, that’s not a bad idea.” Not wanting to make his heavily pregnant wife do all the work, Jack left his paints for now and came out to help her. “We’re no doubt going to end up with a lot more stuff over the years, we should start clearing space now,” he joked.
“It’s a big change to have a baby and have them take over your space,” she joked back, looking down at him with a smile. “Your art studio might even be invaded.” She took some boxes down carefully so she couldn’t fall, checking them to make sure they had the lights. “Baby bottles and blankets everywhere.”
“As long as we don’t turn it into her changing room, I’ll be fine with it,” Jack chuckled. “But once she starts crawling, we really will need to keep her out of it. I keep sharp tools in there, and some of the oils and thinners I use are toxic."
