Rhonda remains silent, watching Jack with sadness in her eyes. She’s unsure of how to respond for a while, gazing at the young girl in her sad state. It broke her heart to see the young man so torn over his girlfriend’s condition.
“Bad things like to happen to good people it seems…”
And during the happiest times as well, but she chose not to say that part. “According to the file I read, she did really well during her operation too. There were no difficulties. With how well she seems to be doing, I wouldn’t be surprised if she opened her eyes tomorrow.”
She looked over at him. “I mean, she does have someone to live for, after all. A reason to fight for her life.”

…i hope i’m enough, that’s all. i care about her so much, and… and i know some people might thing it’s too fast but honestly i don’t care what they think. a-and i normally do care but she’s been so wonderful. she’s so scared, of so much, but i’m willing to hold her hand through all of it. through any of it. and i’ll be here when she wakes up.
